AITA for yelling at my sister after she kept insinuating my girlfriend was unhygienic.

2020.09.25 23:37 throwawayGFhair AITA for yelling at my sister after she kept insinuating my girlfriend was unhygienic.

My girlfriend is black and we've been dating for a bit past a year now. She's amazing and I can genuinely see a future together. Lately, my sister has been a tough financial spot and we offered to let her stay with us for a while. She's been staying with us for the past 1 1/2 months.
My girlfriend has box braids in. Two days ago, my girlfriend spent almost the whole day removing her braids, washing them, braiding them, styling them etc. She prefers to remove her hair in one spot and do everything in one sitting to avoid making a mess etc.
My girlfriend was sitting on the couch, with her now washed natural hair in twist-outs, and my sister was so interested in my girlfriend's natural hair. She refrained from touching it (mostly because my girlfriend told her that it makes her uncomfortable.) but kept asking questions like, "Is it an afro?" or "Is it really really long?" etc.
My girlfriend didn’t think my sister was being racist, just oblivious and curious about something new to her.
I guess my girlfriend said something along the lines off, "Yeah, I just washed it." and my sister kind of scrunched up her nose and responded with, "Like you haven't washed in a month?" and my girlfriend nodded, and then my sister left to her room.
Yesterday, when my girlfriend was out of the house, she asked me "How I could be with someone so unhygienic?" I was very confused, and then she went onto explain how "strange" it was that my girlfriend didn't wash her hair often, and wondered if she was this unhygienic and dirty in other aspects.
I rudely shut her down, without answering her questions, and she took that offensively. She didn't say anything explicitly to my girlfriend, but she would always make backhanded comments which I caught on, such as; "Did you really wash your hands?" or "Are you sure you don't want me to do the dishes."
I was having a bad day (just stressed out) and my sister turns to me (my girlfriend wasn't around) and asks me, "Isn't it ghetto to not wash your hair for weeks, doesn't it smell?"
Admittedly I lost my temper, and I yelled at her for insinuating my girlfriend is "ghetto" and she stormed out the house completely, and came back a few hours later. When she came back, I warned her to not make a comment like that again otherwise I will happily kick her out.
I explained all of this to my girlfriend, and though she's happy I stood up for her, she wishes that I didn't yell and at least tried to explain the situation to my sister.
I guess in the moment I thought I was doing a good job, but my girlfriend disagrees with me a little. I just want to know, AITA?

2020.09.22 04:23 aquamommy919 How to sleep with twists??

Ok so I cut my hair a few times in my 4 year journey. The most recent time was because of post partum shedding. I just went bald, like a eagle lol. The last time I had my hair long was a year ago and I would just wear it in a puff, afro, or braided back under a wig.
My hair is long enough to twist and so I twisted it today. The problem is I never used to wear twist as a style. I would usually do it to stretch my hair or do the two big twists halo thing when I couldn't be bothered.
How do I maintain my twists for at least 2 weeks to a month. I have a durag but I usually sleep in a bonnet. Now when I sleep with a bonnet and have my hair twisted I wake up with twist every whicha way. Waking up like who did it and why.
Do I just sleep with a durag? Sleep with my bonnet? Tie it down with a scarf (scarf gone fall off in the middle of no the night 🙄)
Do I wash them weekly? Biweekly? I don't want my hair to lock. This is just a protective style.

2020.09.17 04:50 Far-Cry2124 Should i wear my hair matted?

(18M) It's been 8 months since i been growing out my afro. Everytime i wear my hair out with no du rag, i always pic it out. Mainly because my hair sponges get dirty after a long period of time. But everytime i pic my hair out it ALWAYS gets messed up. It gets knotted up and curly after picing it out and it makes no sense. I want to get cornrows soon but my mom doesn't want my hair like that or in any braid or twist. She likes low cuts for me. My question is should u just wear my hair matted? How would i pull that off?

2020.09.13 14:46 zombie_wonderland Some good fantasy books with a strong heroine

Fantasy literature has come a long way since the boys club of The Lord of the Rings (which I’m a fan of, but let’s be honest here).

24. The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson - 2011

Book 1 of 4 in the Fire and Thorns series
Once a century, one person is chosen for greatness.
Elisa is the chosen one. But she is also the younger of two princesses. The one who has never done anything remarkable, and can’t see how she ever will.
Now, on her sixteenth birthday, she has become the secret wife of a handsome and worldly king—a king whose country is in turmoil. A king who needs her to be the chosen one, not a failure of a princess.
And he’s not the only one who seeks her. Savage enemies, seething with dark magic, are hunting her. A daring, determined revolutionary thinks she could be his people’s savior, and he looks at her in a way that no man has ever looked at her before. Soon it is not just her life, but her very heart that is at stake.
Elisa could be everything to those who need her most. If the prophecy is fulfilled. If she finds the power deep within herself. If she doesn’t die young. Most of the chosen do.
“A smart, complex fantasy with stellar characters… Carson’s mature writing style, thoughtful storytelling, appealing characters and surprising twists add up to a page-turner.”
—Publishers Weekly (starred review)

23. The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon - 1988

Paksenarrion, a simple sheepfarmer’s daughter, yearns for a life of adventure and glory, such as was known to heroes in songs and story. At age seventeen she runs away from home to join a mercenary company and begins her epic life.
Book One: Paks is trained as a mercenary and introduced to the life of a soldier, as well as the followers of Gird, the soldier’s god.
Book Two: Paks leaves the Duke’s company to follow the path of Gird alone—and on her lonely quests encounters the other sentient races of her world.
Book Three: Paks the warrior must learn to live with Paks the human. She undertakes a holy quest for a lost elven prince that brings the gods’ wrath down on her and tests her very limits.
“This trilogy builds in power and intensity… all the sweep and majesty of the finest heroic fantasy.”
—VOYA

22. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - 2012

Book 1 of 3 in The Shadow and Bone Trilogy
Orphaned and expendable, Alina Starkov is a soldier who knows she may not survive her first trek across the Shadow Fold, a swath of unnatural darkness crawling with monsters. But when her regiment is attacked, Alina unleashes dormant magic not even she knew she possessed.
Now Alina will enter a lavish world of royalty and intrigue as she trains with the Grisha, her country’s magical military elite—and falls under the spell of their notorious leader, the Darkling. He believes Alina can summon a force capable of destroying the Shadow Fold and reuniting their war-ravaged country, but only if she can master her untamed gift.
As the threat to the kingdom mounts and Alina unlocks the secrets of her past, she will make a dangerous discovery that could threaten all she loves and the very future of a nation.
“This is what fantasy is for.”
—The New York Times Book Review

21. The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson - 2006

Book 1 of 3 in the Mistborn series (EDIT: 3 changed from incorrect 5)
For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the “Sliver of Infinity,” reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler’s most hellish prison.
Kelsier “snapped” and found in himself the powers of a Mistborn. A brilliant thief and natural leader, he turned his talents to the ultimate caper, with the Lord Ruler himself as the mark. Kelsier recruited the underworld’s elite, the smartest and most trustworthy allomancers, each of whom shares one of his many powers, and all of whom relish a high-stakes challenge. Only then does he reveal his ultimate dream, not just the greatest heist in history, but the downfall of the divine despot. But even with the best criminal crew ever assembled, Kel’s plan looks more like the ultimate long shot, until luck brings a ragged girl named Vin into his life.
Like him, she’s a half-Skaa orphan, but she’s lived a much harsher life. Vin has learned to expect betrayal from everyone she meets, and gotten it. She will have to learn to trust, if Kel is to help her master powers of which she never dreamed.
“Intrigue, politics, and conspiracies mesh complexly in a world Sanderson realizes in satisfying depth and peoples with impressive characters.”

20. Graceling by Kristin Cashore - 2008

Book 1 of 3 in the Graceling Realm series
The YA book Graceling tells the story of Katsa, who is smart and beautiful and lives in the Seven Kingdoms where selected people are born with a Grace, a special talent that can be anything at all. Katsa’s Grace is killing. As the king’s niece, she is forced to use her extreme skills as his brutal enforcer. Until the day she meets Prince Po, who is Graced with combat skills, and Katsa’s life begins to change. She never expects to become Po’s friend. She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace—or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away… a secret that could destroy all seven kingdoms with words alone.
“Cashore strikes a strong balance between adventure, drama and romance–bloody battles and sexual tension co-exist in equal measure.”
—BookPage

19. The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland - 2017

The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. is brilliant, fast-paced, and will give you sore wrists because it’s a thick, heavy book, but you will not want to put it down.
An expert in ancient languages is hired by a mysterious government agency to translate some documents that suggest that magic actually once existed in the world. But the advance of science caused magic to disappear in 1851. However, the existence of a two-hundred-year-old witch and some fancy technology allow a limited amount of magic to occur in this world, and soon the language expert and others are being sent back in time to repair history. And, if they’re lucky, bring magic back to the world.
“Quantum physics, witchcraft, and multiple groups with conflicting agendas, playfully mixed with vernacular from several centuries and a dizzying number of acronyms, create a fascinating experiment in speculation and metafiction that never loses sight of the human foibles and affections of its cast.”
—Publishers Weekly

18. Soulless by Gail Carriger - 2009

Book 1 of 5 in The Parasol Protectorate series
Alexia Tarabotti is laboring under a great many social tribulations. First, she has no soul. Second, she’s a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was rudely attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette.
Where to go from there? From bad to worse, for Alexia accidentally kills the vampire, and then the appalling Lord Maccon (loud, messy, gorgeous, and a werewolf) is sent by Queen Victoria to investigate.
With unexpected vampires appearing and expected vampires disappearing, everyone seems to believe Alexia responsible. Can she figure out what is actually happening to London’s high society? Will her soulless ability to negate supernatural powers prove useful or just plain embarrassing? Finally, who is the real enemy, and do they have treacle tart?
“Carriger debuts brilliantly with a blend of Victorian romance, screwball comedy of manners and alternate history. . . . This intoxicatingly witty parody will appeal to a wide cross-section of romance, fantasy and steampunk fans.”
―Publishers Weekly (starred review)

17. Wicked by Gregory Maguire - 1995

Book 1 of 4 in the Wicked Years series

And then there is the little green-skinned girl named Elphaba, who will grow up to be the infamous Wicked Witch of the West, a smart, prickly, and misunderstood creature who challenges all our preconceived notions about the nature of good and evil.
Elphaba’s name comes from “L. Frank Baum,” the author of the Oz books.
This New York Times bestseller is the basis for the smash hit Tony Award-winning Broadway musical.

16. Fair Peril by Nancy Springer - 1996

Buffy—a fat, 40ish, divorced mother—encounters a talking frog and, ignoring the warnings of fairy tales, does not turn the frog back into a prince. Trouble ensues when Buffy’s rebellious teenage daughter Emily does kiss the frog; soon she and handsome Prince Adamus disappear into the enchanted land of Fair Peril. It is up to Buffy to rescue Emily and, in the process, learn that magic does exist in the most ordinary of lives.
[A]n eccentric, charming fantasy that combines fairy tale with a smack of satire… a hilarious blend of feminism and fantasy in this heartfelt story of the power of a mother’s love.”
—Publishers Weekly

Armed only with a frying pan and her common sense, Tiffany Aching, a young witch-to-be, is all that stands between the monsters of Fairyland and the warm, green Chalk country that is her home. Forced into Fairyland to seek her kidnapped brother, Tiffany allies herself with the Chalk’s local Nac Mac Feegle, aka the Wee Free Men, a clan of sheep-stealing, sword-wielding, six-inch-high blue men who are as fierce as they are funny.
Together, they battle through an eerie and ever-shifting landscape, fighting brutal flying fairies, dream-spinning dromes, and grimhounds (black dogs with eyes of fire and teeth of razors) before ultimately confronting the Queen of the Elves, absolute ruler of a world in which reality intertwines with nightmare. And in the final showdown, Tiffany must face her cruel power alone.
“Like Celtic mythology fused with ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer.’”

10. A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin - 1996

Book 1 of 5 in the A Song of Fire and Ice series
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King’s Landing. There, Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert’s name. There his family dwells in peace and comfort: his proud wife, Catelyn; his sons Robb, Brandon, and Rickon; his daughters Sansa and Arya; and his bastard son, Jon Snow.
Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse—unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances. Now Robert is riding north to Winterfell, bringing his queen, the lovely but cold Cersei, his son, the cruel, vainglorious Prince Joffrey, and the queen’s brothers Jaime and Tyrion of the powerful and wealthy House Lannister—the first a swordsman without equal, the second a dwarf whose stunted stature belies a brilliant mind. All are heading for Winterfell and a fateful encounter that will change the course of kingdoms.
Meanwhile, across the Narrow Sea, Prince Viserys, heir of the fallen House Targaryen, which once ruled all of Westeros, schemes to reclaim the throne with an army of barbarian Dothraki—whose loyalty he will purchase in the only coin left to him: his beautiful yet innocent sister, Daenerys (the strong heroine of this book).

Bound together by Ezili and “the salt road” of their sweat, blood, and tears, the three women struggle against a hostile world, unaware of the goddess’s presence in their lives. Despite her magic, Mer suffers as a slave on a sugar plantation until Ezili plants the seeds of uprising in her mind. Jeanne slowly succumbs to the ravages of age and syphilis when her lover is unable to escape his mother’s control. 2020.09.01 06:11 Responsible-Muffin85 Update to my toxic ass parents.Holding in my anger

I'm done with my parents
So basically what your about to read happen like 5 or 6weeks ago but this is just which I posted and got some advice. When you get to the heading update that’s me right now and how I feel and what happened after you don’t have to give me feed back on the what your about to read.(if you want to I’ll still Appreciate and take it into consideration)but I mostly need advice on the update part THANK YOU
I’m gonna start off with I love my parents,I just hate the bull shit they do.
I’m 16 I went to the barbershop got a haircut that i paid for with my own money,
(Afro taper)I went home my mom was fucking tripping and then get this
She started to ACT like she’s physically sick because she can’t stand the site of my hair she also started praying because,Apparently any haircut that isn’t a low brush cut is bad.I don’t think my dad would have cared but my mom did some brainwashing.
So my dad calls me into the room he looks at my haircut. My mom in the back is like “ he’s trying to be like Joshua”.
(Joshua is my older brother who has twist in his hair,my parents hate it and think I'm gonna try and grow my hair out long enough to get twist, when in reality i don’t care About getting twist i just don’t want my hair to be short)
Then my dad starts yelling at me
Than he said i’m gonna give you money so you can re cut your hair.Like why in the hell
I’m 16 I can take care of my hair you always complain.mom is always like “I don’t have anymore babies”then when i make a decision about MY hair it’s a problem. Then she’s says “You think your grown that’s why you cut your hair that way”.This happen last week,my dad never gave me the money or he just forgot cause he didn't care he only yelled at me in the moment to make my
Mom feel better.Than yesterday she brings it up again.I told in a cool, calm, and collective voice.
“I paid for the haircut i like this hairstyle”Then she’s all like.”oh yeah i’m telling your father”because she knows what he does when she does bullshit like this.He comes home from work calls me in the room.Says “Your cutting your hair tomorrow”.I know this is some B.S so i say “I’m not cutting my hair”. My dad in shock that i stood up to him says”WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME” i repeat it he gets mad and says”OKAY I’M GONNA TAKE YOU THERE MYSELF
AND MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR HAIRCUT” i say “i’m not cutting it,it’s not right to cut make me cut my hair because you don’t like it”.Then my moms in the back making it worse saying your being disrespectful you always have something to say. Then my punk ass dad gets up and says “Fine i’m gonna personally cut your hair in the bathroom”He goes to the kitchen gets a wooden stool puts in the bathroom,He locks the door to the room and says lets go.
I say no i'm not going bald for you guys.its a whole back and forth thing. Then my mom gives
I have choices to either get a bad haircut from my dad or go to a professional and get it done.
I gave in because i could not stand in the room for another second.I’m getting shit for getting a certain hairstyle that i paid.(B.T.W i got the money from my dad he told me if i cut the grass he would pay me so that was my job)So i’m bout to leave the room and my dad says no get on your knees and cross your arms and tells me to knee there for until 12:00 A.M. it was 9:35 P.M at the time(So i’m getting punished even though i said i would go cut my hair). So i knee there then my mom escalating shit again telling my dad shit that i said to her but she told him in a way that it seemed like i was blatantly disrespecting her, when in reality
Everything I said to her was calmly never raising my voice.Basically she told my dad i said “I can do what I want with my money.”When I never said that i only told her that “i paid for the hair cut”.After my dad heard that he said that he wouldn't pay me anymore and i would be doing it for free now.He also called my older sister and told him to cut my phone off Today. He also said i would never touch a phone again in my life even if he died Just saying all this crap to get on my mom’s good side. After about an hour on my knees.my mom leaves the room and that's when he does this bullshit.”Look son you know your mothers sick,i don’t like doing this i’m only doing this because we don’t want you to walk the same path as Joshua,We don’t hate you we love you son”.Then gives me a dumb ass fist bump like i’m cool with him after what the hell he just did to me.He did all that bullshit to please my mom it’s so annoying he claims i’m his favorite then does shit like this. The he tells me to apologize to my fucking mom…..MY FUCKING MOM.He tells me to hug her and all this shit.so i do it and as I hug her and tell her i'm sorry i tear up.Not because i’m sad that made her upset,I teared up from anger that I have to apologize for bullshit that could been avoided if she didn’t overreact and play victim. Now its 3:55 A.M and i got cut my goddamn hair later on today. This is why i want to move out as soon as possible. This shit Happens all the time not just for my hair .My mom overreacts about something then gets my dad involved he yells at me to please her. This shit happens all the time, then when i stay in my room all day just so i don’t have to look at or talk to them(I’ve gone three whole days without speaking or talking to them cause they did some bullshit like this) its “Eli where have you been can’t remember the last time i seen you,you haven't greeted me when i got off work”.This shit pisses me off the fucking most.YOU DO SOME NUT SHIT AND EXPECT ME TO JUST BE HAPPY WITH YOU BECAUSE YOUR MY MOTHER. That is not how shit works if you do something to piss someone off, there not just gonna be happy with you especially if you don’t
Say i’m sorry.(which my parents never fucking do).How am I gonna fucking grow up and my life decisions if i can’t even decide what i can have on the top of my fucking head.
Also they do this fucked up thing. They hate when i talk back,I talk=”You are so disrespectful you always have something to say”. “I don’t talk back= “ hate when you just stand there and look around like you're confused and you don’t care”. What the actual fuck.
Anyways after i get my haircut i’m done with them i’m gonna try my best to avoid them for how long it takes me to graduate high school(I’m a junior and graduate 2022) get money and move out.I’m staying in my room 24/7 now i’m not gonna engage in any type of conversation with. I’m not asking for money.I’m gonna make it clear that I no longer want to live in the same house as them and it’s fine if they kick me out. I'm done living in this toxic family.
BONUS they always threaten to kick my older brother out he’s 24 he doesn't want to go to college he went but dropped out cause he didn't like it.He has a twist in his hair.and he likes to work with kids at the YMCA he works at. But since he really doesn't make a lot from that my parents think it stupid. He made a clothing line but my parents thought that was also stupid. So yeah my parents think college is the only way,So yeah i have shitty parents and i want to move thanks for reading
 UPDATE
let’s start off at the day I got the haircut.Dad woke me up told me to get ready
And I did i was like whatever let’s get this unfair shit over with.i saw my mom that morning she tried to hand me something to eat before I got my hair cut
But I made this shit clear that I didn’t want to talk to her.So with cold dead tired eyes I said “no” in a low raspy voice.Made sure she got a good look at my face to see how pissed off I was
I get the cut absolutely hated it decided I was just gonna wear my hoodie until my hair grows back and so my mom doesn’t get the satisfaction of seeing my head like the piece of crap she wanted I get back home my moms gone.
Yeah she’s just gone she left with her car and didn’t come back for the rest of the day.me being pissed off in didn’t give a shit if she came back or not
Next day she didn’t come home next and the next.so the day before school my dad says “I’m gonna take you to your mom and sister so you can go shopping for school”
Turns out my childish ass mom was so “stressed” out about some fucking hair she went to stay with my order sister for the week.and honestly I was shocked.how is a grown woman gonna do that shit just over fucking react. Went to see them still made it clear I’m pissed off at her and. Of course I had my hoodie on so she didn’t get the satisfaction
First you start some shit then walk out on your family cause you cant take it anymore,if anyone needed a break from anyone I should have been the one to leave for a week to get away from this trash ass family. Anyways she left for like a week came back.
and I tried okay I tried to avoid her as best as possible but nooooo “Eli” come do this “Eli” come help me with that.its so annoying she can’t take a hint you fucked me over not only my money but my comfortability(don’t even know if that shits a word) it’s like I don’t want to speak to you.
But anyways I tried to make it clear that I didn’t like her but I couldn’t it was to tiring so I’m basically just suppressing my anger.and we have been talking like nothing happens we even laughed but deep down inside I’m still PISSED OFF.i even Initiate conversations with her like wtf is wrong with me why I am I talking to her .sometimes I forget but whenever I look in a mirror at my hair I replay that day and I’m pissed off at the both of them.
I want them to learn,I wanna be angry,I don’t want to fucking be happy with them I want them to know I’m still FUCKING UPSET.I so I’ve been basically holding my self back and what’s even more fucked up. when ever I leave with her I put a hoodie on my head. And she’s like “do you have wear that hoodie everywhere”And I tell her I don’t like my hair Just so she remembers.and she’s like it’s nice. She knows damn well that’s pisses me off
I’m gonna buy a fucking durag and put that shit on my head 24/7 and I don’t care if she or anybody else likes it.
(Just typing this is making me so fucking pissed off) 😡 what do i do is this even healthy mentality I can’t talk to them because THEY WILL NOT LISTEN.goes through one ear and out the other they will never try TRY to see this from my point of view
And what’s real messed up is my brother bought a durag and my mom doesn’t like it.so now if I get one it’s oh “you following after Joshua again” btw I bought a durag 2 years ago and she didn’t have a problem with it but I know if I get one now she’s gonna forget how she was cool with it and
yell bitch and complain on how she doesn’t like it. WHAT DO I DONI FEEL THE RAGE ABOUT TO JUST BURST JUST From typing how I feel somebody help me

2020.09.01 02:43 taylorikari Question for my natural hair brides

Hello! I had to postpone my June wedding of this year and on a whim, my fiance and I decided to get married in six weeks in October while on vacation. We will be getting married on top of a mountain (lmao I know). I am not savvy when it comes to my hair. It's either in two afro puffs or marley twists that are kept up in a bun. Any thoughts on what to do with my hair? I definitely want natural if not more full and long but I'm scared clip-ins will blow away lol curious to see what you all are doing with your hair for your big day!

2020.08.30 02:24 thr3eee Mightve messed up

So I went to a salon to get my hair comb twisted but instead got them interlocked. My hair before was just like a high top afro. I kinda dig it but at the same time I don’t because I wanted my hair to be thinner and be able to move around alot more but it doesn’t. Is it possible to go back, have my interlocks undone and then get comb twists? Ive see that interlocks are able to be undone but its not exactly the easiest thing to do. Ive also seen people that just completely cut their hair off completely and just start regrowing it over again to start another dreadlock journey but Id rather shoot myself than do that and Im dead serious lol

2020.08.24 19:34 GAaliyah12 I hateee dealing with my hair

I'm so fed up! I twisted my hair last night to stretch it and style it this morning, but guess what happened? IT DIDN'T ACT RIGHT! I was trying to a simple twist on my hair and then put it into an afro. I'm really starting to hate my hair and i don't want to. I just don't know why it won't do right.

2020.08.20 03:14 mpbra123 traction alopecia or male pattern baldness?? 19 y/o

i had locs from 2016-2020 and i cut them because i felt like my hairline was being pulled out. every time i got a retwist, my go to style was always cornrows/barrel twists straight back, putting a lot of pressure on my hairline. i cut my hair into an afro in january to try to salvage my hairline and when it was cut the line was more visible than it was with dreads, just very light on one side (only 1 side looks bad). fast forward to april, its not really showing much improvement in my eyes so i take the next step and cut it into a fade. now you can see clear as day that my hairline is only baby hairs now. both sides were light but one side looked way worse. the okay side seems to have filled in but the bad side doesn’t seem to be improving in my eyes. will this be permanent?

2020.08.16 01:26 muddy120 Thriller Bark is a Great and Fantastic Arc and has a lot of Amazing Moments, 8.5/10 Arc - Breaking One Piece Myths/Opinions

This post is long overdue. Thriller Bark for people is a hit or miss, a lot of people love or they hate it. But for whatever reason even though its a great arc and a lot of people love it, a lot of people hate it as well for no reason I feel. Now everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you hate or dislike the arc then you dislike the arc and thats fine. But sometimes Thriller Bark like Davy Back Fight I feel, gets a lot of unnecessary hate and I don't know why. So its time to defend it and tell you why its great and one of the best arcs in the series.
Thriller Bark is original, its a Nightmare Before Christmas style Halloween arc and NO ARC is like it in the entire series and even in anime shonen manga history if you think about it. Do you see a Halloween arc in Dragon Ball? No, Dragon Ball has spirits and a afterlife and Otherworld and just a lot of spiritual themes and ghosts as a whole but no Halloween centric arc, same with Naruto, and even Bleach a Soul Reaper show, the only thing I can think of that comes close is maybe Bleach again sometimes but its just a dark style spirit show as a whole so I feel it doesn't count too much and its just different with the samurai vibe and Zanpaktou, its not really Halloween centric just more so spirits and death and Swords is the main themes of Bleach rather. But back on point besides mild similarities of Bleach, Soul Eater is the only Halloween Centric anime ever, at least in a popular Shonen anime. One Piece has one of the most original arcs in shonen anime history with Thriller Bark and its theme hear with Halloween. So theres that, moving on.
We get the first team fight in the series. The entire Straw Hat crew, besides Luffy ends up teaming up to beat Oars. I'm gonna claim here that there is not a team fight of the WHOLE Crew, again besides Luffy before Thriller Bark even if then Luffy joins midway in the fight at the end to finish Oars off, so in actuality the WHOLE crew did beat Oars and fight him in the end. The closest thing we had to a team fight before this from what I remember is Usopp and Chopper versus Mr. 4 and Ms. Merry Christmas. That's it, if I'm wrong then feel free to correct me in the comments, Zoro and Usopp mini team up against CP9 guys doesn't count because they were stalling for the key and the train fight with Sanji and Franky in them is hardly much as their lackeys, same with the Franky Family, again though One Piece as a whole is a very team centric anime. The crew always is working together all the time like in those fights I mentioned before and the Davy Back Fight, but we never saw them fight ALL together at once in general against a formidable strong foes that wasn't a mini game like the Davy Back fights were they were split up into teams or just fighting together against fodder enemies that were hardly a threat to them. So I'm giving one point to first Straw Hat whole entire team fight against a strong foe and opponent in the series.
Shadows, the shadow concept is very unique and creative! We get to play with the dead here and bring them back to life in a way. There not really alive again except for Brook, but the Zombie's are kind of fake alive again as a new being here even if there not the original person still. Oda's take on resurrection and playing with life and death here is really unique and a great devil fruit idea on his part with his wide and vast imagination for Oda that we know him for as a writer. Also Oda has creative rules for the shadows like salt makes the power go away and the shadow go back to its owner, you can put shadows into dead bodies and make them alive like I said, you can put them into LIVING BEINGS and make them take on the power of the shadow itself! This is incredibly creative and interesting concept and I happen to love Nightmare Luffy myself and think is was an incredibly creative idea on Oda's part. So thats great along with the other shadow rules in the story here in this arc. And turning and disintegrating in the sun is scary and creative idea on a setback of losing your shadow it raises the stakes of the arc and makes it feel like they can lose if their shadow is taken and dawn and morning comes which puts a timer on the clock to win as we saw at the ending of the arc, which people also forget that the Straw Hats almost lost and died in this arc here. Its not just Sabaody or Enies Lobby the stakes were high, Moria was stronger than people say and almost beat them in the end here. Perfect Segway Moria time now.
Moria, I saw an awesome video on why Moria is a GREAT villain/antagonist. Not a bad one, a great one, or at the very least if you still disagree he's still a bad villain he's still a GREAT CHARACTER and I'll tell you why right now with his video as a reference here for this. Moria is basically the more logical and tactical Luffy. Outside of Moria being more logical and even lazier than Luffy even though Luffy is sometimes lazy and is very laid back like him as well, Moria is more logical and tactical and Luffy is more innocent, emotional, and naive an childlike and lives by his inner values and strong morality and makes decisions from his heart over logic. Besides these differences of the two Luffy and Moria are just alike and have similar captain philosophy and upbringing and values they believe in and dreams. They both are big dreamers and want to be Pirate King, there both laid back and easygoing, there both imaginative, creative, think outside the box a lot, and see possibilities everywhere, there both future oriented, they're both highly intuitive people and bad with details, they both hold onto the past a lot as well, they both love their crew very much and will do anything for them, they both LOST their crew, they both believe in OTHERS will help them become Pirate King but go about it in different ways, Moria believes it in a lazy way and just wants people to do stuff for him and handle all the work for him instead while Luffy sees possibilities and potential in his crew and sees the strength in others and knows that he needs other people to help him become Pirate King and that he can't do this dream thing on his own, its more genuine and authentic and respectable with his inner values for Luffy believing in this and his intuition seeing the potential in others and focusing on people and seeing their strengths that they have as individuals and wanting the recruit them along on the journey with him to help each other reach each others goals in life and be a team and be good friends at that too. This potential Luffy sees in others is everything Luffy believes in inside his heart and he knows he needs other people's strengths to achieve his Pirate King dream no matter what. Check out the video on this down below.
Edit, the video is gone for some reason. I don't know why, maybe the YouTuber took it down or it got flagged sadly I don't know. So for now I guess I'll send another Gecko Moria analysis video in its place, this is not the video I was talking about above earlier or in this post sadly but this will have to do in its place then. I'm gonna keep the text in this post the same though to keep it authentic and true to what I wanted in the first place on what I wrote initially for the vision of this post. I hope thats ok with everyone, now onto the rest of the the post:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWCfa18__LA&t=241s
Moria is one of the characters that says the journey there on will be hard and they'll never make it and it will be difficult for them to make it and achieve their dream. He's the first one to say and predict with his intuition and experiences that Luffy will lose his entire crew one day and that he will be devasted when it happens, we all know the face Moria made here, truly spooky and terrifying his face here. His prediction comes true and Luffy loses his entire crew before his eyes on Sabaody. His entire family and friends, gone just like that. Luffy is lucky enough to have fate on his side and people that care about him to help like Kuma and Rayleigh and get him and his crew out of there from being captured and killed and got them out of there alive. Moria did not get this fate and luck, his crew died from Kaido's hands and his crew, that simple. This traumatized him and affected him deeply in the past and he holds onto this strongly to this day. The video above explains all this as well very well in depth.
In my opinion it has the best Usopp Fight in the series among many other good ones for Usopp fights. I think most people agree Usopp vs Perona is one of his best fights and most creative ever, I love this part on rewatch and reread everytime.
The Kuma fight at the end is amazing and one of the best moments and plot twists in the series with his appearance showing up twice without warning. His fight with Zoro is incredible and we get to see how much insane pain Luffy has been taking in holding in all this time. This scene shows how much of a monster Luffy is and how he should have died a long time ago, but didn't because of his insane willpower, rubber powers, incredible durability and massive strength as a person and pirate, along with his drive to be pirate king and realize his dream and protect his friends a long the way.
It has one of the best plot twists in One Piece history and in anime history as a whole, Laboon. The Laboon plot twist, throws EVERYONE off everytime and surprises and makes every viewer happy every, single, time. I've seen people react to the episode and people lose their minds when they find out that Brook was apart of the Rumbar Pirates and is still alive waiting to go find Laboon once he gets his shadow back and is still alive out there trying to keep his promise still to see him again. People say Oda is a genius writer especially at this point in the story every time, Oda contrary to popular belief is not a planner but rather comes up with new ideas on the spot with his big imagination, most of the time anyway. He came up with the Supernovas for instance the day before the chapter released for their reveal. Oda had a lot of arcs and characters planned early yes, but he wanted to end One Piece in 5 years and figured he'd reveal these arcs and characters early enough that too him he felt like he wasn't a planner style writer, Brook to him for instance was supposed to be revealed much earlier in the story but he said the story dragged out and he developed it and the characters more which made Brooks reveal delayed and causing this massive plot twist to show around episode 300 range for anime viewers and manga readers. Regardless of this truth Oda is still a genius writer and had this idea for revealing Brook and introduced one of the greatest plot twists in manga and anime history in my opinion.
Nothing happened for Zoro is amazing of course.
Brooks backstory is one of the best and saddest in the series history. The concept of Oars is amazing, taking Luffy's shadow which you could argue is a loss, Luffy was beaten or at the very least incapacitated and got his shadow taken away from him. At this point in the story you feel like they lost and what's gonna happen next your thinking and then Moria reveals this thousand year old or whatever Giant and puts Luffy's shadow in it. The manga said how this is like the strongest pairing ever and for good reason it is, it was a 300 million berry bounty style Shadow fusion situation and it made the perfect Zombie. Oars is a real threat for this arc for this reason and he initially beat all the Straws Hats despite their efforts, until Nightmare Luffy came and beat him to the ground.
Nightmare Luffy vs Oars was an amazing fight and Luffy uses a sword for the first time beside the message moment in Arlong with the crew and potential thing he saw in them and needing them etc.
This arc is funny and one of the funniest in the series, Luffy pushing a Zombie back into the ground is classic and hilarious everytime. Everyone agrees on this that Thriller Bark is very funny so I don't have to explain more.
I happen to like Shadows Asgard moment but its a matter of opinion if you like it and this part of the story. Luffy combining Gear 2nd and Gear 3rd together is another imaginative creative moment on Luffy and we get to see him do this and create another new attack on the spot, Gum Gum Jet Giant Shell which is awesome but bad for him as it puts a massive strain on his body. We get more Robin humor and dark humor from her in this arc and this is the first arc we see her in after the Enies Lobby incident and she's just bonding with the crew and not holding back anymore with them. Zoro vs Ryuma, I believe he gets a new sword here as well after he beats him. Other good straw hat character moments too.
Bink's Sake is an amazing song and has tons of theories on its origins in the series as well. Ace is forshadowed again here at the end in trouble too. Further leading up to the Marineford storyline. Boa Hancock is hinted I believe for the first time in the series. Lola and Big Mom connection too. It Foreshadows Fishman Island more. More Vivre card info as well. When they leave Thriller Bark we see some strange red eyed monsters in the distance and fog, the theories go wild with this scene as well.
We get a new Straw Hat with Brook, one of the best characters in the series, a talking skeleton with a afro is really creative, eccentric idea, and awesome idea on Oda's part with him here. He's goofy like Luffy but Brook is more down to earth, lives in the moment, and sensible than Luffy is, as Luffy is more of a huge dreamer, future oriented, curious about life, people, and adventure in the future and imaginative and loves coming up with new ideas as a whole and gets excited by new ideas and strange things he sees and is amazed by everything he sees with his childlike and innocent curious and optimistic happy go lucky personality.
Overall Thriller Bark is a excellent arc and one of the best in the series by far. It deserves more respect and more love and praise as a whole by One Piece fans I feel. I hope this analysis and breakdown helped show why Thriller Bark is so great. It's one of the best in the series and I would say like a top 15 arc or so among the many arcs in One Piece so far, maybe even top 10 honestly. Thriller Bark is a 8.5 great arc honestly in my opinion and many others. Give it some more love and respect if you haven't already. It's a truly great arc and is very creative and unique as a whole. Tell me if you agree or disagree with anything down below. If you think its bad in some areas though feel free to share or criticize anything wrong I said you feel in your eyes and opinion. And add any more points on anything positive about the arc that you think I missed and great moments in Thriller Bark that deserves mentioning as well. Thriller Bark is classic One Piece and is One Piece as a whole in the series along with many arcs in the series as well and you can't have this series without this arc and its events in the story definitely for sure. I'm interested if others agree with my on this, can't wait for the responses.
This is the best Thriller Bark arc/saga analysis review video I've seen on YouTube and he agrees on the score I gave it here as an 8.5 great arc. It's a really good video, so I highly recommend you check it out here down below:

2020.08.09 03:19 Responsible-Muffin85 Advice on toxic parents

I’m gonna start off with I love my parents,I just hate the bull shit they do.
I’m 16 I went to the barbershop got a haircut that i paid for with my own money,
(Afro taper)I went home my mom was fucking tripping and then get this
She started to ACT like she’s physically sick because she can’t stand the site of my hair she also started praying because,Apparently any haircut that isn’t a low brush cut is bad.I don’t think my dad would have cared but my mom did some brainwashing. So my dad calls me into the
room he looks at my haircut. My mom in the back is like “ he’s trying to be like Joshua”.
(Joshua is my older brother who has twist in his hair,my parents hate it and think
I'm gonna try and grow my hair out long enough to get twist, when in reality i don’t care
About getting twist i just don’t want my hair to be short)Then my dad starts yelling at me
Than he said i’m gonna give you money so you can re cut your hair.Like why in the hell
I’m 16 I can take care of my hair you always complain.mom is always like “I don’t have anymore babies”then when i my a decision on about MY hair it’s a problem.

2020.08.08 13:35 youto2 House Party 8/03/20 - Part One

We open our scene, as we get a panning shot of the Knoxville Civic Auditorium! The top deck may be taped off, but that does not mean we do not have an excited crowd on hand, as we see many cups of beer flowing, as they chant-
Crowd: W-I-R! W-I-R! W-I-R!
We then pan over to our commentary table, where we see Paisner and Woodbridge with wide smiles, looking hype for tonights action!
Paisner: Hello everyone! And welcome to another edition of House Party, coming to you live from Knoxville, Tennessee! I’m Allen Paisner-
Woodbridge: And i’m Mark Woodbridge!
Paisner: And we got another exciting show in store for tonight! Seeing action such as the debut of the most hot, and the most ready new tag team on the block, as Hot’N’Ready take on Red Army, who certainly are not happy after Ivanov’s loss to Buster last week! We got classic big v small action in Oona Slash vs Hugo Ironblood! A battle of the yet to be defeated, vs the yet to win, as Seth Blackheart coming off of two consecutive victories in his first matches, faces the 0-3 Jim Baker looking to prove himself! We will see the in-ring return of Klutch as he faces off against the devient that is Big Larry, plus add potential Balandran revenge to the mix? That’s a hot kettle right there! And in our main event, leader of The Horde and #1 Contender to the Independent Championship, Tony Stevens, fights the eccentric Dexter Flux who just…..kind of took one of the jackets The Horde produced after Stephen Romero didn’t really want it. But enough talk now! Into the action!
We cut to Javier, stationed in the center of the ring
Javier: The following contest is scheduled for one fall-
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Javier: And…
Javier pauses and looks at Paisner. He mouths an “I’m sorry” and continues
Javier: Is sponsored by Ballsweat 2.0, More Balls, Less Sweat!
The crowd boos.
Woodbridge: Looks like Ballsweat 2.0 isn’t over.
Paisner: Under my legal console, I can’t answer either way, Mark.
Woodbridge: I can, Allen. As much as I don’t like Klutch, Balandran has an asskicking coming, and he’ll get his, you watch.
Limp Bizkit’s My Generation plays over the PA as Big Larry comes barreling out of the curtain, getting a small hometown pop
Javier: From Knoxville, Tennessee, weighing in at 250 pounds, BIG...LLLLLLLARRY!
Woodbridge: Big Larry wanting to go big tonight, Allen!
Paisner: Well, Big Larry has the home field advantage tonight, but with his opponent, I doubt that’ll help his chances.
Woodbridge: Either way, we’re gonna have a HOSS FIGHT TONIGHT! WOO!
Woodbridge downs a PBR as Big Larry steps over the top rope. He does a taunt to the crowd getting a mixed reaction, then waves them off like they’re below him. He goes into his corner as his music slowly fades out.
Javier: And his opponent.
The bass and drums from “Huka Blues” by Harry and the Slashtones plays over the PA as the crowd erupts.
Paisner: He’s back!
Klutch enters the arena as the saxophone enters the song. The crowd cheers as Javier continues his introduction
Javier: From Wherever He May Roam, weighing 295 pounds, KLUTCH!
Crowd: WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!
Woodbridge: Klutch, a man who drank old Crystal Pepsi, put on a mask in an insane asylum, dropped acid for a solid month, ran a religious cult, and finally, has a heart of iron, is looking absolutely great here!
Paisner: But you gotta ask the question, hell, I gotta ask the question: Will he be ready in time? Balandran is a fresher, younger, and definitely more fit than The Man of a Thousand Gimmicks.
Woodbridge: This man is a former Independer Champion, a former Tag Team Champion, and on top of that, he’s dangerous and has the guts. And that may be enough.
Paiser: As he enters the ring here, he must put Balandran on the back burner, and worry about the man in front of him, Big Larry.
Klutch enters the ring, and looks down Big Larry. They meet face to face as the music fades out.
Woodbridge: HOSS FIGHT! HOSS FIGHT!
Harry Undersach somehow pushes them apart, and looks at Larry, who signals he’s ready, then at Klutch who does the same. Undersach then signals for the bell.
DING DING DING
Both Big Larry and Klutch charge each other, locking up. Big Larry overpowers Klutch, pushing him into his corner. Klutch holds up his arms, acknowledging Larry’s strength. Larry does a muscle man pose toward Klutch, laughing at him in the process.
Crowd: BOOOO!
Klutch then motions for him to lock up again, Larry obliging. They move around a bit, Larry pushing Klutch into the ropes, signaling Undersach to start the count. Larry breaks the lockup, moving back slowly. Klutch then moves towards his corner again, catching his breath
Woodbridge: Both of these men feeling each other out here, clearly there is some brute strength being shown by Big Larry.
Paisner: Klutch has been known to show strength, but he’s also never been eye to eye with a man like Big Larry!
Klutch motions for one more lock up. Big Larry charges in, only to be greeted by a swift kick to the gut, then an uppercut to Larry’s jaw, shooting Larry back to an upright position.
Crowd: OHHHHH!
Klutch runs against the ropes, giving Larry a huge lariat, sending Larry down to the ground, getting the crowd hyped. Klutch then runs the ropes again, dropping a big elbow on the heart of Big Larry, going for the pin
ONE
Quick kickout by Larry. Klutch gets back to his feet, followed closely by Larry. They lock up again, only Klutch is able to get a side headlock on him. Larry pushes Klutch off of him, sending Klutch to the ropes. Klutch ricochets off of the ropes, setting up for a lariat, which Larry dodges. Klutch bounces off the opposite side, which Larry sets up for a clothesline, which Klutch ducks under. One more bounce and Klutch finally greets Larry with a huge right hand, sending Larry into the ropes.
Crowd: OHHHHH!
Using the momentum, Larry bounces off the ropes and delivers a right of his own. Klutch, also feeling the momentum, bounces off of the ropes and delivers a hard lariat, causing both men to collapse. Klutch quickly goes for the pin.
ONE
Not even close. Larry kicks out. Klutch gets to a kneeling position, frustrated.
Woodbridge: Both men are trying as hard as they can to knock the other out. Klutch, thus far keeping up, but what can he do to put Big Larry away?
Paisner: Well punches seem to not be doing the trick. Klutch has got to try something else.
Klutch, back to a standing position, gives Larry, who is back on his knees, a swift kick to the back. Klutch gives another kick, this time targeting the kidneys.
Crowd: OHHHHH!
Woodbridge: We’re seeing some old school Klutch here. He is using his brute force to focus on the back. If Big Larry can’t lift, he can’t win.
Klutch then targets Big Larry’s right leg, giving another swift kick. Klutch backs off a bit to hype up the crowd. The crowd pops as Klutch turns his attention to Big Larry, who is now getting back up. Klutch goes to grab him, but is met with a big punch to the gut, followed by another punch to the gut.
Crowd: OHHH!
Larry gets back to his feet, and throws a right at Klutch. Klutch runs his hand by his mouth, then looks at his mouth, then at Larry. They both then charge at each other, throwing rights back and forth.
Crowd: FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
Woodbridge: This isn’t even a wrestling match anymore, this is a literal brawl!
Paisner: Klutch, not used to being in the position he’s in, is throwing everything he has at Larry! It’s a fist fight, and we expected nothing less!
Klutch then throws a huge right in the midst of the punches, and knocks back Larry. Larry comes back, but is then greeted by a huge kick to the midsection. He runs the ropes, then meets Larry with a knee lift, followed by a huge forearm smash. Larry goes down, and Klutch looks around, crazed look in his eye. The crowd jumps up with excitement.
Crowd: YAY!
Paisner: AND I THINK IT’S TIME!
Woodbridge: That familiar look in his eye! He’s wanting that piledriver!
Crowd: BOOOO!
Woodbridge: Now what the hell is this?!
From the curtain comes Bernardo, Austin Balandran’s trusted servant. In his hand is a silver platter with a kendo stick. Klutch looks out to the entrance, confused as to what’s going on. The camera then shoots over to a different angle, showing Austin Balandran right behind Klutch with a steel chair.
Paisner: Klutch needs to turn around here! Klutch!
However, too little too late. Balandran smashes Klutch with a huge thunderous shot to the back with the chair.
DING DING DING
Javier: Here is your win..OH SHIT...
Balandran gives that signature cocky smile, assuming he’s finally found the way to tear down Klutch. Klutch, clinching his fists, turns around and sees Balandran’s smile go from wide to non-existent. Balandran goes for another hit, but is met with a swift kick to the gut.
Crowd: YAAAAAY!
Balandran drops the chair, giving Klutch the opportunity to grab the weapon, doing so rather quickly. Klutch grabs the chair and gives Balandran a smack over the back, sending tremors throughout Balandran’s body.
Crowd: OHHHHH!
Balandran quickly rolls out, not wanting any more punishment. Klutch motions for him to come back in. Meanwhile, Bernardo reaches ringside and enters the ring. He grabs the kendo stick and drops the silver platter. He tries to muster up courage as Klutch still has his attention on Balandran. As Bernardo finally gets the nerve, he goes for the swing...only to have Klutch turn around at the last second. He stops in his tracks, having the sheer look of horror on his face. The crowd gets excited, wanting Klutch to destroy Bernardo
Crowd: FUCK HIM UP! FUCK HIM UP!
Paisner: YES! GET HIM! YES!
Woodbridge: Remember the lawsuit?
Paisner: FUCK THE LAWSUIT! PILE DRIVE HIS ASS!
Bernardo drops the kendo stick, and tries to run away, but Klutch grabs him by the hair, and walks him around in the ring. Balandran, who has by now escaped to the entrance, watches in horror as his servant is being punished for his crimes. Klutch, now looking at Balandran again, points at him with his free hand. He then kicks Bernardo in the gut, and places his head in between his legs. Klutch mouths some inaudible words, and picks Bernardo up.
Woodbridge: DIAL THE CLOCK! UNINSTALL WINDOWS!
Klutch piledrives Bernardo, tossing him to the side. He continues to sit on the mat, still locking eyes with Balandran.
Crowd: OHHHHHH!
Paisner: Y2KLUTCH! AND IF KLUTCH HAS HIS WAY, HE’LL PILEDRIVE BALANDRAN STRAIGHT TO HELL!
Woodbridge: ALLEN!
Paisner: I’m sorry. This whole situation has me stressed out. But damn it, I hope, nay I pray, that Klutch can pull off the big one!
Klutch’s music starts back up. He looks around him, and gets back up, hamming it up to the crowd again, getting them excited again.
Crowd: YAAAAY! KLUTCH! KLUTCH! KLUTCH!
Paisner: Folks we’ll be right back!
The lights then cut off for a moment, as ringside crew clean anything around ringside and in the ring itself, before they come back up, as we see Javier, calming himself down from the previous ordeal, getting ready for more announcing.
Javier: The following is a tag team match set for one fall with a 30 minute time limit! Introducing first….
The Sacred War by Red Army Choir blasts throughout the venue, as Ernesto Vargas and Viktor Ivanov step out onto the entranceway, looking like not particularly happy men. As they march their way down to the ring.
Javier: From St. Petersburg, Russia and Buenos Aries, Argentina respectively, weighing in at a combined 412 pounds, Viktor Ivanov, Ernesto Vargas, THE RED ARMY!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ivanov and Vargas make their way down, Ivanov ignoring all around him, and Vargas jawing with the crowd, as they step into the ring, awaiting their opponents.
This fuckin’ shit begins to play…..as for a good 40 seconds, well after the song kicks in we see nobody come out from behind the curtain, as we look inside the ring and see a deeply impatient looking duo in Vargas and Ivanov, wondering what in the hell is going on. As FINALLY we see Hot’N’Ready out on the entranceway, as we see Damian Pakachio and Ryan Drillian come out from the curtain. With the forever alone rage comic face airbrushed onto both of their tights. As they RUSH down to the ring, sliding into the ring, as before their music even stops, they try and spear both of The Red Army! Damian getting a successful one on Vargas, as Ivanov manages to hold Drillian back, looking more offended and annoyed at what they’re trying to pull than surprised, as he tosses Drillian off of him, then grabs Damian off Vargas and tosses him through the ropes, Vargas rolling out of the ring hurt from the spear. As a very deeply confused Mia calls for the bell seeing just Drillian and Ivanov in the ring.
DING DING DING
Ivanov heads over to Drilliann, and begins to just pound on Drillians’s back! Forcing him down to the mat, before laying in stomps to his back, and grabbing him to toss him across the ring with a bul-plex! Drillian landing roughly on his back, as Ivanov looks all business. Ivanov grabs Drillian, and tosses him into a corner, where he lays into him with a vicious knife edge chop! Reddening Drillian’s chest, then another! And another! And another! Sinking Drillian halfway down in the corner, as Ivanov heads off to the opposite corner, and rushes at Drillian, but Drillian manages to counter!.......by grabbing Ivanov’s nose! Drillian laughs at what he accomplished, as Ivanov looks thrown off by what just happened to him, before pushing Drillian off, but this gives Drillian the opportunity to toss out one cheeky little job to the face of Ivanov, more to pester him than hurt him, before retreating to the ropes, tying himself in them, and repeatedly calling for Mia to enforce a break everytime Ivanov tries to get close to him. Eventually, Ivanov has enough of this shit, as he rushes Drillian anyways, and boots him out of the ring! Mia reprimands him for this, but is not strong enough ground for a DQ, so we continue going, as we see Vargas recover from the spear he took earlier, and pop into their tag corner, and Damian slide into the ring to take Drillian’s place, as Ivanov goes to tag Vargas in.
Vargas and Damian face off from each other, as the two approach each other, before Vargas goes to use his speed to slip behind Damian! Getting a quick go-behind in order to lift and drop Damian face first on the ground, before jumping up into a double foot stomp on the back of Damian! Damian grunting out in pain! Vargas then grabs Damian, and lifts him up, tossing him into a corner where he rushes, and clocks Damian in the head with a high knee! Stunning Damian, as Vargas whips him into the opposite corner and does it again! Then back into the original! Then back into the opposite! Then back into the original! Then back into the opposite, then back into the original, as he finally lets up, and Damian loopily stumble out the corner, former slowly falling in a tree falling like fashion onto his back. Vargas smirks at his work, as he stays against the ropes, and signals for Damian to make his way back up. After a good few moments, Damian begins to stir, first doing so weakly, but eventually pushing himself all the way to his feet, albeit without great balance on his feet, as Vargas then rolls towards him, then springs up for his “Justicia” rolling thunder DDT!........but Damian ducks his head under, and does so at the precise height for Vargas to land his nuts right on top of Damian’s head! Resulting in a low blow as Vargas falls to the mat clutching at his crotch! Mia goes to threaten Damian, but Damian insists that was 1000 percent unintentional, that this was a cade of Vargas just happening to land on his crotch rather than a low blow, and Mia being unable to prove him wrong, lets the match continue.
Damian, sensing an opportunity, walks over to Vargas laying on the mat, as he looks out to the crowd, and hypes them up with a mix of removing his elbow pad and further theatrics, before beginning to repeatedly run the ropes to build up for his “Shitposter’s Gambit” People’s Elbow!....but then we see he just…..keeps running….and running….and running….and running….and running….and running, to the point where Vargas completely recovers sits up, sees what Damian is doing, and just stares in complete befuddlement, as Damian ignores the fact that Vargas has sat up and just…..keeps running. As Damian continues to run, eventually Vargas decides he has enough, and goes to stand up, but right as he does so, Damian stops on his next run back, kicks Vargas in the chest to floor him again, before dropping the elbow on Vargas! A major grin forming on Damian’s face, as Vargas pops up, looking a mix of surprised and deeply offended at what Damian just pulled on him. He rushes at Damian in anger, but Damian sidesteps him, and shadow boxes the air to taunt Vargas, Vargas rushes at Damian again, but unfortunately for him the process is repeated. Vargas then rushes again, but strikes to try and account for the sidestep…...so Damian simply rolls away predicting this adjustment, and does a sort of ta-da! pose at Vargas to further taunt him. Vargas looks deeply angered, as in this state, he charges Damian again, but Damian twirls himself behind Vargas, and slaps him in the back of the head, and for the briefest moment, has a satisfied smirk on his face…...but that is quickly erased by Vargas in his anger mule kicking him in the nuts, dropping Damian to the ground holding at his crotch, as Mia calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Hot N Ready win by DQ in 4 minutes and 43 seconds, but this does not do them much good, as Vargas repeatedly stomps on the body of Damian, before just pressing his boot into Damian’s throat! We see a recovered Drillian rush into the ring to try and save his partner, but Ivanov rushes into the ring with a chair, and wails Drillian in the back with it before he can do anything to save Damian! Ivanov forcefully throws down the chair on Drillian’s back. As we then see both members of Red Army pick up the respective member of Hot’N’Ready they’re dealing with, Ivanov grabbing Drillian in a gutwrench, Vargas lifting Damian up from behind, as they synchronize their finishers on them! Ivanov drilling Drillian into the mat with his Karelin Lift, lifting the gutwrench high then dropping it into a piledriver on the top of Drillian’s head, and Vargas also spiking Damian as well, performing a standing version of his “Salvador Rojo” poison rana! The crowd tosses trash into the ring at the post-match attack by Red Army, who just look down at Hot’N’Ready with disgust, before leaving the ring, as ringside and medical crew rush into the ring to carry out the nearly unconscious members of Hot’N’Ready.
We happen upon Chad Hammocks, who is stalking around through halls peeking through doors with a microphone in hand and Cameraman Chuck in tow. Hammocks finally peeks through a cracked door to see Stephen Romero and Buster Bravado, who are talking with eachother as Hammocks turns to Cameraman Chuck and lifts up a finger to his mouth to shush him. Hammocks cracks the door a bit further.
Buster: Hey man, all I’m saying is, and I don’t think it’s that controversial, but all I’m saying is, Martin Luther King Jr. was a conniving no good suck-up coon. That’s all I’m saying.
Romero: Its… just, why is this the hill you die on. Jeez. I mean, even Malcolm X-
Buster: AHEM. His name is El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz. Come on now.
Romero: Y-yea, sure. Well, even he wouldn’t go as far as to say all that.
Buster: I don’t think you know the first thing about what that beautiful man had to say, but. No worries, that’s why you’ve got me around to educate! It’s a beautiful thing, we share, this big, black, beautiful thing of ours. Solidarity, that is.
Romero: Yea, speaking of solidarity, we did a good job handling The Vanguard last week didn’t we! With you taking on Ivanov in the ring while I took care of the rest of those goons.
Buster whips out his black power pick and begins running it through his afro.
Buster: Of course, I did do most of the work there. I mean, I had it handled like the black part of a knife, but, you did good with the edges, y’know.
Romero turns to Buster with a skeptical glare.
Romero: You do know I saved you the match, right? Like, had I not grabbed Vargas he would’ve broken up the count-
Buster: Nah, I had him down for the three anyways! I think you’re just tryna take credit for my amazing feat of Black Supremacy!
Romero: Come on, dude. You weren’t winning that match if I hadn’t evened the playing field! You’re kidding yourself right now!
Buster: You are trippin right now. I had that match WON! I could’ve taken all those crackers on by myself, there was no need for a brotha like you to steal my thunda! My Black Lightning!
Romero: I saved your ass, don’t get me wrong, you won the match! But the way you yapped off like you did it all on your own… Dunno about Black Lightning, I’m thinkin maybe Black Thunder suits you better since we have to hear all that noise all the damn time?
Buster: Yea? Keep mouthing off to your equal, or I’ll show you a lot more than noi-
Romero looks over at the now wide open door and Hammocks and Cameraman Chuck freeze in their tracks looking like they’ve been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
Hammocks: Uhh. uhhhhhhhhhh. Uh. fuggin, uhhhhhh. Heyy, this isn’t Sparky’s room, my bad!
Romero: Sparky isn’t even in the company?
Hammocks: SHIT uh, oh damn look is that Yakub behind yall?!?
Buster turns around swiftly, turning his head left and right, and Romero just maintains eye contact with Chad who slinks backwards out of the room and leaves Romero and Buster to their own.
Buster: Wait, but where’d he see Yakub- Fuck, THAT LYING WHITE DEVIL!!
Romero: Listen, Buster, we can’t let these petty quarrels get out of hand. I respect the hell out of ya, but I can only look out for you so much-
The door now creaks back open, but instead of the meek backstage duo, the intimidating figures of Ernesto Vargas and Viktor Ivanov fill the doorframe. Looking like they just finished cleaning up from the previous match, with towels wrapped around themselves. Vargas letting out a smug laugh accompanied by a shit-eating grin while Ivanov looks on without expression.
Vargas: Ay, Che, Que quilombo this “Black Solidarity”! Es un desastre!
Vargas lets out another cocky giggle as Buster takes a step forward in a defensive gesture.
Buster: Y’all came back for another can of Pitch Black Ass Whoopin?
Vargas: Take it easy, fellas. We aren’t here to beat some sense into those heads of yours, as fun as that would be. It’s entertaining enough for me to watch you two burros try to figure out which is the head and which is the tail. Speaking of, it seems pretty clear which one is more committed to a fight from who stepped forward first, eh?
Romero now steps forward, and it becomes clear how much the man towers over everyone else in the room as he steps past Buster to stand face to face with Vargas.
Romero: We may not always see eye to eye- literally and figuratively- but I will toss you across this room like a ragdoll if you question my commitment to our solidarity again.
Vargas still manages to hold an obnoxious grin on his face despite being dwarfed by the man looking down at him.
Vargas: Your friend over there may have managed to beat mine over here, but I guarantee you your kind of solidarity is no match for ours.
Romero: Next week then. 2 on 2. Me and Buster versus you two.
Ivanov speaks up from next to Vargas.
Ivanov: See you.
The Red Army retreats out of the room as Buster now steps up next to Romero.
Buster: Hey.. I know we’ve gotten close as of late but.. We’ve never tagged before, are you sure this is the best ide-
Romero: No more questioning if we can. We go out there and we do.
Romero leaves the room now, leaving alone a Buster Braggadocio who looks more shook than usual at the prospects of what he has now been faced with.
We come back to the ring, where we see Javier in the middle, ready to announce
Javier: The following is a singles match set for one fall, with a 30 minute time limit! Introducing first..
Forboding chords come through, before exploding into hard guitar as The Devil by Blue Stahli plays Seth Blackheart out from behind the curtains. A deep red light coming down on him, as he has a devilishly smug look planted on his face.
Javier: Introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 223 pounds, SETH BLACKHEART!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Paisner: Down to the ring, one deeply, dangerous man. Striking fear into his opponents with his presentations and promos, then taking their heads off with a vicious punt kick. Two down, Jericho Styles, and a former champion in Ikbal Rizwan, and now one more person in his way, Jim Baker.
Woodbridge: And he’s very confident coming into this, quickly besting another new face on the block, then a very successful veteran, he feels as if there’s little reason to worry about a man with zero wins like Baker, and doesn’t seem terribly receptive on Baker’s attempts at recruitment. He’s earned that confidence tonight, but he has to be careful not to get consumed by it, because that’s even when a demon forged by the fires of hell can get burned.
Blackheart continues to make his way down to the ring, looking around at the crowd with a sense of superiority written on his face, as he makes his way to the ring apron, steps in between the ropes into the ring, and awaits his opponent.
A chugging instrumental comes through the speakers, as we see Jim Baker pop out onto the entranceway. A focused look on his face, as he shadow boxes at the top of the ramp.
Javier: And introducing next, from Cinicinatti, Ohio. Weighing in at 245 pounds, Jim Baker!
Crowd: MIXED RECEPTIONS
Paisner: And now, a man looking for his first taste of glory. Looking to show the high expectations set for him as a former star in many other promotions are ones he can live up to, and looking to protect his security in the profession, lest he take another loss and get left by the wayside due to underperformance.
Woodbridge: Not to mention, if he wants to convince Blackheart to join him and Stevens….then what better way to show his worth than with a victory right?
Baker does a bit more boxing, before walking down to the ring, eyes focused on it, as he drowns out the crowd around him, he makes it to the apron, as he rolls into the ring, staring down Blackheart from across it. Mia then signals to both wrestlers to see if they’re ready, and getting 2 nods, calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
The bell sounds, as the two wrestlers begin to approach one another, inching towards the other, before suddenly as they’re about halfway to each other, Baker bursts at Blackheart! Getting a single leg takedown on him, as he just begins to pound away on him with repeated forearm shots to the skull!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Blackheart begins to black, and goes to quickly squirm his way out of the situation, getting to his feet, as Baker continues to charge at him, before Blackheart mule kicks him in the gut to double him over, then drops to a knee to land an upper throat thrust to Baker! Causing Baker to back off, holding at his neck!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOO!
Blackheart cracks a smirk at getting Baker off of him, before he steps back to hit the ropes and rush back at Baker! But Baker bounces back, and leaps up to take Blackheart down in a Lou Thesz press! Taking Blackheart back to the ground, as this time he rains down closed fist punches onto his head! Blackheart tries to squirm out again, but Baker prevents it this time, by goozling Blackheart by his throat in a chokehold to hold him down to the mat! Mia comes over to count Baker off, Baker continuing to choke and rain down punches on Blackheart until he finally breaks and steps off at the 4 count!
Paisner: Baker taking it right to Blackheart! This man wants a victory at all costs!
Woodbridge: He’s gotta be careful if he’s gonna fight aggressive though, Blackheart is not only fantastic at slowing down the pace and throwing people off their rhythm, but also great at exploiting people’s passions to work against them….such as desperately wanting their first victory in WiR..
Mia keeps Baker backed off from Blackheart until Blackheart begins to stir, whereupon she lets the action continue, as Baker rushes over to grab Blackheart, and whip him into a corner! Whereupon Baker charges, then socks Blackheart in the face with a running forearm smash! Rocking Blackheart as he stumbles out the corner, as Baker quickly moves to Blackheart’s side, grabbing him and dropping him on his neck and shoulders with a belly-to-back suplex!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Baker goes into the cover!
1!
2! No! Blackheart out at 2!
Baker continues right on Blackheart, standing up and laying in a few stomps to Blackheart to keep him hurt, before picking him, and whipping him into the ropes. But instead of letting Blackheart bounce off, Baker instead rushes at Blackheart right as he whips him, and clocks Blackheart with a high knee right as he hits the ropes! Leaving Blackheart stunned against them! Baker then runs off to the opposite set of ropes, and comes back to clock Blackheart with another high knee! This one forcing Blackheart off the ropes as he stumbles towards the center, nearly falling off balance, as Baker then runs the ropes to deliver a third high knee!.........but at the last moment, Blackheart catches the knee, and transitions it into a full grip on the leg, then twists it around for a dragon screw leg whip! Sending Baker’s leg hard into the mat, as he writhes around in pain, while Blackheart lays on the mat from all he just took!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Paisner: Blackheart cutting Baker off with a destructive dragon whip to the leg! Taking away all of Baker’s work, and making it harder to get future work in with the pain coursing through that leg!
Baker holds tightly at his leg, as Blackheart begins to stir, shaking himself off and trying to get his head straight, as he forces himself back to his feet. Blackheart makes his way up, and walks over to Baker, grabbing Baker up with a handful of hair and tossing him into a corner. Where upon doing so, he whacks Baker in the face with a hard palm strike! Stunning Baker, as he alternates to hit him with the other palm! Baker sinking a bit in the corner from the impact, as Blackheart grabs him by the chin to re-set him in the corner, as he lays in another vicious palm strike to Baker! This one instantly sinking Baker halfway down in the corner!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Blackheart then stretches out a leg, as he places it on top of Baker’s throat! Choking Baker out in the corner! Baker tries to grab Blackheart’s leg to pry him off with bruteforce, but Blackheart just pushes his boot in harder, and continues to choke Baker out until the 4 count!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOO!
Blackheart releases his boot from Baker’s neck, as Baker drops completely in the corner, falling to a seated position as he desperately tries to get air back into his body. Blackheart then grabs Baker up from his seated position in the corner, as he begins striking at him again! This time pelting with closed fist punches to the face that Mia reprimands him for, but Blackheart brushes off. Blackheart then switches up to deliver a rough uppercut to the chin of Baker! Stunning him in place, ensuring Blackheart an opportunity to rush off to the opposite corner!
Paisner: Blackheart taking solid control after the dragon whip! Looking to tear Baker apart bit by bit!
Blackheart eyes Baker from across the ring with malicious intent, as he then charges out the corner at Baker! But before Blackheart can attack, Baker gets a foot up! Going to boot the charging Blackheart in the face, but Blackheart has a response to the attempted counter! Managing to stop himself and grab Baker’s outstretched leg, before lifting his own to kick the back of Baker’s leg! Baker groans in pain, as he bends down clutching at his leg, giving Blackheart the opening to grab Baker’s head, and spike him into the mat with a snap DDT! Baker’s head PLANTED into the ground!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Paisner: Blackheart with counters for counters! Always a man who seems one step ahead of his opponents! Blackheart into a cover!
1!
2! No! Kickout from Baker!
As Baker kicks out, Blackheart crawls off of him, and begins to signal for Baker to get to his feet, as Blackheart slowly rises up himself! Baker lays on the mat for a good few moments, before we see him stir and begin to push himself up to his feet. Baker slowly pushes his way up, nearly falling back down a few times from how loopy the DDT made him, but eventually makes his way up, as Blackheart quickly grabs him and sets his head between his legs! Then going to lift him up for a piledriver! But as he does so, we see Baker manage to fight back, kicking his legs and struggling until Blackheart is forced to set him down! Blackhear then tries to lift Baker up again, but Baker drops to a knee to prevent this! Blackheart tries to brute force through this, but Baker shifting his center of gravity successfully stops this! Blackheart then swings his arms to club Baker in the back! Trying to break him back down! Eventually pounding him down towards the mat enough, to where he feels comfortable re-grabbing him to set his head between his legs once more, but suddenly, Baker grabs both of Blackheart’s legs, and trips him down onto the mat! Keeping hold of both of the legs!
Crowd: WOAHHHHHHHHHH!
Paisner: Baker reversing the piledriver! Now has grasp of both of Blackheart's legs, and if last week is any indication, we know exactly what he could be going for!
Baker fights to try and turn Blackheart over, as Blackheart fights back himself, trying to scoot his way back towards the ropes, but just as it seems he’s right about to reach out to them, Baker lifts one of his legs, and plants a stomp right into the middle of Blackheart’s chest! Pushing all the air out of Blackheart’s body, as he clutches at his chest, as the distraction from the pain gives Baker his chance to drag Blackheart back into the middle of the ring, as he continues to try and turn him over! But Blackheart now fights back! Struggling against them, repeatedly preventing Baker from turning him over onto his front! Eventually, Blackheart begins to push his legs and kick at Baker’s face! Pelting him with kicks until Baker is forced to let go! Baker takes a moment holding at his face, before quickly trying to rush back in and flip Blackheart over before he can resist, but Blackheart sends another kick until Baker’s face to keep him back! Baker stumbles back for a moment, before attempting to come back, and lay in another stomp to Blackheart’s chest, but Blackheart catches the boot! And uses it to trip Baker up, Baker now on his back, as Blackheart gets to his feet, the leg still in his grasp, before he somersaults over to deliver a rough leg snap to Baker!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Baker yells out in pain, as he sits up clutching at his leg, as Blackheart sees this, and takes the moment to run the ropes, and comes back with a penalty kick, but instead of aiming at the chest, he aims for the head as he sends Baker’s body flat on the mat!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Paisner: JESUS! What a vicious kick from Blackheart! Taking Baker’s head off! Into the cover!
1!
2! No! Kickout from Baker!
Baker’s eyes stare out wide into the distance, as Blackheart sits on the mat for a moment, taking a good second to catch his breath and stretch out some of the pain coursing through his body. Blackheart then begins to push himself up to his feet, sweat dripping off of him, his breathing heavy, as he grabs Baker up by his hair, and brings him to his feet. Blackheart, with Baker’s hair still clutched firmly in his hands, then lays in a forearm shot to the face of Baker! Decking Baker to the mat!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Baker stares up at the lights with a thousand yard stare, as Blackheart grabs him by the hair yet again, bringing him up, before decking him once more with a stiff forearm! Baker dropping to the mat yet again!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
After Baker is dropped this time, we see him try and push himself up, but only being able to do so very slowly because of the pain he’s being put through, giving Blackheart ample time to grab him by the hair once more, bring him up yet again, and deck him to the mat with a third forearm shot!
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Paisner: Blackheart just unleashing destruction on Baker right now! Looking to pummel him into submission!
Baker hits the mat, but we see him fight to push through, this time stronger than before, as he grabs hold of Blackheart’s gear and begins to pull himself up by it. Gritting his teeth through the pain! Blackheart looks angered that Baker is still moving, and so grabs his hair again, and tosses back another forearm, this one followed through with malice behind it! Flooring Baker again…...who we see begin to quickly rise up! A look of determination on his face as he grabs Blackheart’s gear to pull himself up!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Blackheart looks took aback by this, not even able to react to grab the hair of Baker, who he tosses another forearm shot right at! Decking him once more….but Baker quickly rises up, and tosses out his own hard forearm! Flooring Blackheart to the mat, as Baker then collapses to the ground!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Paisner: BAKER! Taking these shots from Blackheart but rising up to deliver his own! By god this man wants this win!
Woodbridge: This is what I say a lot about wrestling, a man’s character does not reflect his passions, even if they have a habit of beating up hippies, that does not mean they don’t care in the same way technicos do!

2020.08.08 10:32 Responsible-Muffin85 I'm done with my parents

2020.08.07 15:58 CapybaraWookiee [S] Capy's Survivor: Thailand (S5)

Welcome back to the fifth season of Capy's Survivor! This season we are headed to beautiful Thailand for this fun action-packed season. We are once again playing the game of outwitting, outplaying, and outlasting your fellow castaways, whether that be by flirtatious behavior, backstabbing your opponents, or making plenty of allies. This is Capy's Survivor: Thailand!
MEET THE CASTAWAYS:
The Season: Capy's Survivor: Thailand
Episode 1: The castaways near the island just off of Thailand, they see the host, and a banner with the Capy’s Survivor: Thailand logo on it. Once they get off the boat, they see two more banner-like signs, that say Chuay Gahn and Sook Jai on them. The host says his welcomes to the castaways and moves right along. He announces there will be a twist this season, the two oldest castaways will choose the tribes. Bethany will be choosing the tribe for the Chuay Gahn, while Kilo will be choosing the tribe for the Sook Jai. Bethany chooses Asher, Audra, Boston, Nathan, Nina, Samira, and Shane. Whilst Kilo chooses Axel, Stef, Fabian, Judy, Kiara, Maria, and Hoff. Thereafter, they are sent to their respective camps.
At the Chuay Gahn camp, alliances immediately form. Audra needs a strong alliance if she wants to play a villainous game, as she plans to do. So she approaches Mikey as a psychical threat, and should be good in challenges, she also approaches Samira and Nathan as she knows that they can be strategic, then she also approaches Asher, as she knows he might be useful in challenges, and she needs the extra vote. Bethany and Nina know about this alliance that is forming and quickly form an alliance with Shane, hoping for a swing vote from the majority alliance.
At the Sook Jai camp, Kilo forms an alliance that he had already formed in his head whilst he was choosing his tribe, he approaches Stef and Judy, as he sees them as mental and psychical threats. He also approaches Kiara, as she can also be a mental and strategic threat, and he wants the extra vote, and her on his side. Fabian approaches Hoff and Maria to ally with them. He also approaches Ax, but he refuses, wanting to fly as low under-the-radar as possible right now.
The Sook Jai tribe wins the immunity challenge. At the Chuay Gahn camp, Bethany, Shane, and Nina realize that they are very different people, but stick in the alliance for possible safety and votes. They decide to target Audra, as she is the mastermind behind the majority alliance, and she is a big threat to their game. They approach Asher and Samira, as they know they will be the most likely to defy Audra. Even though Samira knows they are right, she still convinces Asher that right now, this early on in the game, the best thing to do would be to stick with Audra for temporary safety. The majority alliance is targeting Shane, as he is the biggest threat to their game. At tribal council by a vote of 5-3, Shane, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 2: Chuay Gahn wins both the reward and the immunity challenges. Mikey isolated himself from the rest of the tribe, and Audra does not feel like he is needed in the alliance after this showing. Meanwhile, at the Sook Jai camp, the drama is commencing. Stef leaves her alliance with Kilo, Judy, and Kiara, as she does not want a target on her back from the other players. Even though she left the alliance, Kilo and Judy still convince Stef to vote with them, as they say, Maria is more untrustworthy and more of a threat than any of them. They also approach Ax, and he says he will consider it. While Fabian, Hoff, and Maria are targeting Kiara as a strategic threat to their game, and to get one less vote against them. They convince Ax to vote with them, stating that Kiara is a worse threat than Maria will be later on. Stef also realizes that Kilo is just trying to play her to get her vote, and decides that it will be best to boot Kiara at this time. At tribal council by a vote of 5-3, Kiara, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 3: The Chuay Gahn tribe wins the reward, but after three challenges win in a row, they become too cocky, and the Sook Jai tribe steals the immunity from under their noses. Asher and Samira, after their conversation with Bethany, just over a week ago, begin to trust Audra less, and Nathaniel shares their suspicious feelings, but they need her vote, so they don’t defy her. At the Sook Jai camp, Kilo and Hoff start bonding, and their alliances are getting worried that they will betray them. Back once again at the Chuay Gahn camp, Audra somehow figures out about Bethany’s talk with Samira and Asher and goes after her for it. But her problem is that Bethany and Nina seem to have already convinced Mikey that Audra is the worst threat than Bethany is, and is worried that they will convince one of her alliance members to vote with them. She attempts to convince Mikey, but he isn’t having it. Bethany approaches Asher and tells him that Audra is a bigger threat and that she will just get rid of him once she doesn’t need the extra vote anymore, but Asher doesn’t want to put a target on his back and become labeled as untrustworthy. At tribal council by a vote of 4-3, Bethany, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 4: Reward and immunity go to the Chuay Gahn tribe, who are back on track after their immunity loss last episode. Nathan is becoming more appreciated around camp by both alliances, keeping everyone company, and helping with the food, water, among other things. But Samira is a little suspicious and thinks he is just doing it to gain everyone’s trust. At the Sook Jai camp, Ax is isolating himself even more, as he still wants to play an under-the-radar game, he decides it will be best not to closely align himself with the other alliances for now. Even despite their efforts, they are still approached by both Kilo and Maria, and they both state their case on why the other should go home. Maria says that Kilo is more of an all-around threat that she is, while Kilo says that Maria can’t be trusted and that he will be a good ally to have later on. Ax thinks that Kilo is a bigger threat than Maria, and decides to vote for him, while Stef thinks they should keep Maria as an easy boot-off later. At tribal council by a vote of 4-3, Kilo, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 5: The host asks the tribes to come to the challenge spot, but its a day before the reward challenge, so they are all suspecting a tribe swap. But to their surprise, the host announces that there will be a different kind of tribe swap this season, called a mutiny. It’s where people can decide if they want to switch tribes or not. Ax decided to mutiny, as he felt he was next to go if he didn’t, as he wasn't strongly aligned with anyone, and he saw this as a perfect opportunity to save himself. Nina also mutinied, as she did not feel safe on her old tribe, like Ax, she knew she was the next boot. This is because Mikey was in and is still closely allied with the majority alliance, and he was a challenge beast, whereas she was not. Therefore, Ax moved to the Chuay Gahn tribe, and Nina moved to the Sook Jai tribe. The Chuay Gahn tribe won immunity once again. Audra starts strategizing with the other tribe while going to get water, making her even less trusted around camp.
At the Sook Jai camp, everyone is strategizing. Nina is approached by Stef and Judy, and they try to convince her to vote with them for Maria, as she is a threat, strategically and as a social player. Originally, Fabian, Maria, and Hoff wanted to vote out Nina, as the new girl they didn’t know, but then decided against it, as she could be a swing vote and an easy boot later, and that would also just end up in a rock draw. So Fabian approaches Nina and flirts with her and during the whole ordeal, slips in that Stef can’t be trusted, that she is just playing under-the-radar, but at the last second she will come up from behind and stab her in the back. Nina acts persuaded, and Fabian looks satisfied. At tribal council, there is a tie, and there must be a revote. Not wanting to go into rock draw, and considering what Fabian told her earlier, Nina decides to switch her vote. At tribal council, by a revote of 3-1, Stef, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 6: Chuay Gahn continues their winning streak once again, winning immunity and reward. Chuay Gahn is starting to drift farther and farther apart from Audra, and their alliance becomes extremely weak, but they keep the alliance for votes. Judy and Maria have a major fight about Maria pitching in more, and how that is why she is getting voted for every week. Due to this Maria, Hoff, and Fabian are targeting Judy for the week, as she will probably be hard to boot off once the merge happens. Judy tries to convince Fabian that Maria is more of a threat than her, and even tries to flirt with him, but he is not falling for her black widow strategy. At tribal council, by a vote of 3-2, Judy, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 7: What the castaways think is going to be the real merge, the host announces the merge, but with a twist, they will still be competing in separate tribes, just on the same camp (stupidest twist ever). Chuay Gahn, once again, wins immunity, sending the Sook Jai to yet another tribal. Fabian is becoming more appreciated around camp, by both tribes, as he helps build the shelter, get food ready, among other things. But Audra isn’t falling for it, she knows a fake trust gain when she sees one. Fabian, Hoff, and Maria, even though they wanted to keep her until merge as an easy boot-off, they have to send her home now. Nina approaches Fabian, and she says that when they get rid of her, they are just going to get rid of him as a threat to their game, both psychically and strategically. He seems to agree with her. At tribal council, by a vote of 3-1, Nina, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 8: The Chuay Gahn wins their fifth immunity in a row. Ax and Asher have a major fight over Asher not pulling his weight in the challenges. Fabian, Hoff, and Maria agree that, no matter what happens tonight, they will still be friends. Fabian and Hoff do what many people along the way have tried to do. At tribal council, by a vote of 2-1, Maria, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 9: The host calls the contestants over to the challenge area, and they know what is about to happen. The real merge is now occurring, and they are also there for their first individual reward challenge. Samira wins the reward, winning herself a video from loved ones at home. Fabian easily wins the immunity challenge. The majority alliance consisting of Audra, Ax, Samira, Asher, Nathan, and Mikey, obviously target Hoff. But Fabian has other plans, he tries to convince Asher and Mikey that Nathan should be the one going home, he is more of a threat, and he can’t be trusted. But, Audra starts flirting with Mikey, and he falls into her trap and convinces Asher to stick with the alliance. At tribal council, by a vote of 6-2, Hoff, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 10: Fabian wins immunity once again, and now the alliance is in a panic about what to do. Fabian convinces Ax that his alliance is targeting him, as he wasn’t originally in their alliance, little did Fabian know this is true. They attempt to convince Mikey and Asher, once again. But Audra plays the flirt card once again and convinces Mikey and Asher to vote with them. At tribal council, by a vote of 5-2, Ax, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 11: Asher wins immunity, and the alliance is relieved that he is finally not immune. It is a pretty obvious decision who they are going to vote out, and there is nothing Fabian can do about it, because he knows Nathan and Samira are too close to Audra, and she will just flirt with Mikey and Asher. At tribal council, by a vote of 5-1, Fabian, the tribe has spoken.
Episode 12: Asher wins reward, and brings Mikey on his reward trip with him. Nathan wins immunity, just barely beating Audra. Audra tries to flirt Asher into convincing Nathan to vote with Mikey. But, a bombshell drops. Mikey and Asher know what she has been doing, and they don’t like it. They have just been playing along to gain her trust, and then boot her when they didn’t need her vote anymore. At tribal council, by a vote of 4-1, Audra, the tribe has spoken.
Finale, Part 1: Asher wins immunity. Asher, Mikey, and Nathan are planning on taking out Samira. But Samira, using her smarts and her communication skills, convinces Nathan and Asher that Mikey they have a chance to boot Mikey because he is a physical threat, and both of them might not make it to the finals if they vote with him. At tribal council, by a vote of 3-1, Mikey, the tribe has spoken.
Finale, Part 2: Samira beats Nathan out in the immunity challenge, winning the final immunity. She chooses to bring Nathan to the finals with her, because she thinks she has a better chance of winning against him, and they have been close all season. At tribal council, by a vote of 1-0, Asher, the tribe has spoken.
The Reunion: Both Samira and Nathan state their cases. Samira said that no offense to Nathan, she was a better person throughout the season. While Nathan stated that he played a much more balanced game than Samira and that he made a lot of strong friendships while at camp, unlike Samira who just stuck with strong alliances all season, and played under the radar. After the jury questioning, by a vote of 6-1, Nathaniel Watkins, you are the winner of Capy’s Survivor: Thailand! The reasoning behind his votes was that some people had a strong friendship with him, while others say he played a more balanced game. Ax wins the fan-favorite award.
My Opinions: This season wasn't the greatest so far, but we had some pretty strong showings nonetheless. We got out first truly under-the-radar winner, in the form of Nathaniel. We had mental mastermind Samira, who seemed to never vote wrong, and that vote flip at the final four was awesome. Audra played the first black widow type game, and she was pretty good at the whole villain thing. But Asher and Mikey overcame it. I think Nina is, once again, like Lexie last season, a good player that got booted way too early, being the last pre-jury boot. This is also proven by her still being number 3 on the most strategic list.
Possible All-Stars: Honestly, Nathan might be the first winner who I think doesn't have all-star potential. He can be included on the list, comment down below if you think he should be. But here it goes: Samira, Asher, Mikey, Audra, Fabian, and Nina
Leave your opinions about potential all-stars (or returnees), your favorites, and the season in general, or what I could change for future seasons!

2020.07.25 06:26 snipesvermin No One should tell you to cut off your hair just because it's too big or it's in a certain hairstyle such as afros, dreads and twists.

Family, friends or neighbors will tell you this and it should make them feel bad. I don't tell you to change this or cut certain things off when you ask me "what do you think of my hair?" It's getting to the point where there are still hair discrimination against any race and it is tiresome. I'm glad there are some states such as New York that bans hair discrimination, but it should just be banned off Earth like forever. I'm not saying get it messy or have no haircut, but what I'm saying is for those who have Dreads, twists, or big chunks of hair like an afro. I mean for crying out loud, even some religions don't even tell you to do anything to your hair. You're a human being and everyone should treat and respect you like that. That's why it is called basic human rights. Not a political output because you think it means something to a certain agenda.

2020.07.22 14:26 xxdelano_sansxx Shrinkage or uneven hair

I twisted my hair on the top and it’s looks decently long and when I twist the sides and back it comes out shorter than the top, but when I stretch my hair to measure it they both measure to 3 inches what should I do? It looks equal to me when in an Afro.
